When the account balance changes your mood. This is the kind of moment that can expose what has really been running underneath. You may not control the other person, the timing, the number, the diagnosis, or the outcome. You do control what you agree with and what you bring to Jesus Christ. Money is a tool and a stewardship issue, not a measure of your worth or God's love. Jesus Christ is still Lord when the numbers make you nervous. Do the next faithful thing, then stop trying to carry the part that belongs to God.

Which reaction feels automatic here, and what would obedience look like instead?

Lord Jesus Christ, I bring You the part I can explain and the part I cannot. Keep me from reacting out of fear, shame, pride, or loneliness. Teach me to move with You. Amen.
